We are seeking a South and East Europe Global Sales Director to organize and support our regional market. This position is responsible for implementing the global sales strategy within each of the markets under her/his responsibility, then developing and executing sales business plans with their team to achieve both short-term and long-term sales objectives. As an active member of the Sales Leadership Team (SLT), the purpose of this role is to ensure that regional sales efforts align with Seco's commitment to better serve our customers. This role reports to the VP Sales, its location is flexible within South or East Europe. Your role The South and East Europe Global Sales Director is responsible for implementing the global sales strategy within each of the markets of her/his scope of responsibility, then developing and executing sales business plans with the regional team to achieve both short-term and long-term sales objectives. This role involves implementing global sales processes and making necessary improvements to enhance effectiveness. The South and East Europe Global Sales Director will manage and develop multiple direct reports by setting clear performance goals and development plans. As an active member of the Sales Leadership Team, the purpose of this role is to ensure that regional sales efforts align with Seco's commitment to better serve our customers. Your Key Responsibilities Main Responsibilities are to: Be accountable for performance and results of Sales function through the regional management team. Lead development of regional and market sales business plan, review and advise on policies - pricing, products mix, and brand portfolio. Contribute to the Sales strategy definition and implement within the markets. Support the Global Business development's team in setting strategic plans. Review and monitor sales performance periodically, and refine sales strategies as required. Be sure her/his teams apply the one way of working defined in Sales. Work closely with marketing, business development, sales operation, PMO key stakeholders and create a collaborative environment for enhancing sales growth at regional level. Be responsible to ensure the sales initiatives are delivered. Manage and develop her/his teams of direct reports. Set clear goals, foster open communication, provide regular feedback. Create a supportive environment that motivates team members to perform at their best. Be a change management ambassador and able to drive successful changes in her/his organization. Align with compliance targets with her/his team, to ensure they operate in respect of Sandvik legal framework and local regulation, and build trust with customers by implementing robust policies, training, and monitoring systems to adhere to regulatory standards. Actively contribute and collaborate to the Sales Leadership Team in order to build a stronger team to ensure quality and effectiveness in serving the customer. We're looking for someone who brings the following skills, behaviors, and interests to this position Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within a similar industry (min 10 years). Strong business planning and execution skills. Excellent team management and development abilities. Lead in remote & multi-cultural environments. Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly. Excellent communication/presentation and interpersonal skills in English. Other European languages as a plus.
