Visual Merchandiser Maternity Cover
- Fidenza, IT, 43036- Full Time- About the role- The role is on-site and is offered on a full-time maternity cover contract.- The Visual Merchandiser is responsible to provide input to retail merchandising initiatives for the village, supporting brand and merchandising standards partnering with the retail team. He / She works closely with the Visual Merchandising Manager and local Deputy Retail Director to effectively support the local teams.-
- Key responsibilities- The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all the following:
- Being the main point of contact between the Marketing Team and the local Retail Teams on all Visual Merchandising issues, ensuring standards and consistency achieved.
- Supporting the brands with their windows, in-store displays, working with the retail team and stores to ensure store layouts and zoning requirements are met.
- Liaising with the Retail Director/s, Retail Managers and creative teams to ensure each and every store has the right visual impact in order to increase revenue.
- Developing commercial communication tools and manuals to raise standards in signage and merchandising for window displays and in-store.
- Coordinating the distribution of relevant materials to stores with the local Retail Teams.
- Establishing and managing a calendar for merchandising and window dressing.
- Assisting the business teams on all promotions, special events, and window display programmes.
- Developing guidelines on VM to support the brands.
- Working closely with the Marketing, and Retail Departments on all signage issues to correspond with the Merchandising and Marketing calendars.
- About You- We are looking for an individual who can display the following experience and skills:
- 3 - 5 years of VM experience in working across multiple brands or for department stores
- Established creative skills with capabilities to work effectively with product from all categories; Luxury, Premium, Lifestyle and Accessories
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work at all business levels.
- Ability to use initiative, pre-empt requests, and think ahead.
- Ability to prioritise and manage several tasks simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent computer skills with good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Knowledge of principles for promoting and selling products.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for fashion and understanding of current market trends.
- Degree educated or other equivalent qualifications
- Fluency in other languages would be desirable but not essential
