We are currently looking for a Project Manager to deliver our project initiatives in the Italian market.
This job offers you the possibility of being the go-to-person for all matters related to projects assigned to you, mainly at the development stage, while working in a fast growth "startup environment" backed by a large international group.
Primary responsibilities:
Based in Milan, the Project Manager will report to the Country Manager for Italy.
Main duties and responsibilities are related to the Italian market and include:
Identifying, assessing and facilitating new project development opportunities for wind, solar, BESS and P2XPerforming feasibility and risk assessment studies on projectsManaging the budget and resources allocated to the assigned projectsTaking ownership of assigned projects throughout the permitting stage, ensuring that the pillars of "land, grid and permit" are managed efficiently and effectivelySourcing and proposing project acquisition opportunities, incl.
participation in potential M&A transactionsCoordinating external project developers or professionals, assuring compliance with the signed agreements and deliverablesHanding over and supporting the assigned projects' construction phaseThe mandatory profile: Has at least two years of experience working with development of renewable energy projects (mainly wind and/or solar)Is fluent in Italian and English, with strong communication skills in both languagesHas verifiable experience in "greenfield" project development in Italy, spanning from land scouting to RTB phase, incl.
knowing and complying with national, regional and local regulation, managing the grid connection request/acceptance process, negotiating/managing land contracts etcHas outstanding project management skillsHas strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skillsHas an ability to work on several projects in different regions at the same timeIs prepared to travel often, mainly in ItalyFurthermore, you could have experience/skills in:
