**Description**:
Job Holder is responsible to support the project from identification phase of potential projects, throughout supporting all activities required to deliver successful solar design-build projects.
In close cooperation with the supervisor and other internal and external stakeholders.
Job Holder will realise the commercial targets and control the transformation success rate.
Pro-active technical support with regards to project development procedures and timelines and quality.
Support establishing a business model, business plan and control of each phase of development and permitting.
**Responsibilities**:
- Managing projects and interfacing with engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil and environmental), legal and financial teams and _ensuring that pre-established delivery times are respected_
- Management of PAS/PAUR/AU MASE/VIA authorization process of storage/agri pv projects
- Constraints and technical feasibility studies, layout of agrivoltaic/storage projects
- Monitoring projects up to RTB status, including site visits, risk assessment (technical and economical), vendors management, interaction with the permitting authorities
- Monitoring development budget, costs and cashflow
- Managing relationships with external stakeholders, incl.
development partners, public entities (state, regional and local), traders and landowners
- Supporting with preparation of proposals for clients such as due diligence, technical advisory, and other service offerings, and providing inputs for Emeren internal approval process with the Investment Committee
**Requirements**:
- 2-3 years of experience in renewables, ideally in PV development
- understanding of project development process for solar PV and/or BESS in Italy (including site control, securing interconnection, permitting process, etc.
).
- good knowledge of associated costs.
- good Project Management skills.
- knowledge of the electricity market in Italy is a plus, including but not limited to interaction with grid operators (TERNA and E-distribuzione), knowledge of the Italian regulation for permitting (AU, PAUR, and PAS).
- knowledge of solar/BESS technology and costs (e.g., panels, BOS, EPC, O&M).
Basic knowledge of ancillary technologies.
(e.g., batteries, T&D networks, hybrids, etc.
)
- fully accustomed to work in an international corporate environment with very good interpersonal and communication skills, strictly following internal processes, respecting compliance policies, etc.
- working knowledge of financial modelling to drive the assumptions of development.
- fluency in English & Italian.
