While you implement your team's approach to drive productivity, you'll also work closely with your colleagues to address challenges, which means no two days will be the same.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesPromote a culture of safety and wellbeing.Analyze and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity are consistently high, and business objectives are met across all shifts.Support and lead a team while handling administrative work and building a strong team culture.Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service.Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes.A Day in the LifeYou'll work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites.
Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site.
You'll also monitor and maintain process efficiency.
Your days will include prioritizing routine team management and daily operational tasks, alongside other tasks like individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide-scale operational contingency planning.
Being a key part of the operations team involves working with colleagues in other teams and external partners to ensure we stay on track to meet customer demands and targets.
This will involve analyzing data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area, as well as discussing the operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers.
About the TeamAmazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances.
Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns.
What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care.
Not only do we deliver large items, but we unpack, assemble, and install them, and take away old items where needed.
With a focus on safety, productivity, and innovation, we're changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.
We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe.
While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day.
Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSCurrently in final year and working towards a university degree (Bachelor's or Master's degree).Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language.Relevant experience in performing data analysis.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon.
