Lines of Business (LOB) are oriented around core client imperatives and are the nexus between industry, functional and innovation needs, and technology excellence. LOBs represent a significant opportunity to drive incremental growth for Avanade and capture 1-billion-dollar wallet share of a market opportunity.
LOBs will bring integrated capabilities to the market through repeatable plays with industry narratives, pulling from Accenture and Microsoft industry expertise, functional and innovation thought leadership, and Microsoft technology excellence. The repeatability of LOB plays will allow for commercial structures that will respond to the need for speed and increased margin/lower cost to the client.
LOBs focus on business outcomes for clients and will consist of a cross-functional team of integrated capabilities from across Avanade's Business Groups and Practices. The scope of the IGTM function includes our Global LOBs, Global Industry Leads, Portfolio Management, Partner Ecosystem & Alliances, and Integrated Center of Excellence (COE), and Managed Services to ensure our strategies, solutions, and delivery drive significant business value.
**What you'll do**:
The Global Line of Business Lead - Modernizing Cloud, Data and AI leads Avanade's Journey in the Cloud of Business (LOB) globally and is responsible for setting the long-term vision for the LOB and driving its implementation and growth within the regions. This role leads and provides the strategic direction to a cross-functional team that manage the entire lifecycle of the LOB, from its development and augmentation to its maintenance and adaptation to changing market conditions and client needs.
This role is responsible for identifying and scaling new integrated play opportunities, optimizing LOB marketing and positioning, providing support to sales efforts and processes, managing the global LOB target, and serving as the primary liaison between global senior management and Region LOB Leads.
This role reports to the Global Integrated Go-to-Market (IGTM) Lead and teams with Global Industry Leads, Global Partner Ecosystem and Alliances, Global Integrated COE and Managed Services, and within a complex matrixed environment and leverages Accenture and Microsoft capabilities at all levels. It requires collaborating with clients, partners, Global Business Groups, Global Sales, Client Group Service Teams, Marketing, and others within and outside of Avanade to be successful.
This is a critical enterprise leadership and Executive level role at Avanade and as such, in addition to its business accountabilities, is equally expected to demonstrate and model Avanade's values, principles, habits, and behaviours.
Business Growth
- Defines and orchestrates target market capture strategy for client's strategic imperatives that deliver high-growth incremental business and require a cross-BGs approach
- Leads the team that designs, test, scales and evolves market leading value propositions and services (LOB plays) that address client's strategic imperatives
- Leverages a variety of industry thought leadership including guidance from the Global Prioritized Industry Leads and insights from the Client Groups, Accenture industry thought leadership, and Microsoft industry strategy to provide LOB plays that deliver business outcomes for clients' strategic imperatives
- Owns global capability development roadmap for LOB plays and aligns this with Global Business Group and Practice Leads
- Leverages Global Partner Ecosystem & Alliances to generate uniquely differentiated solutions that address client's strategic imperatives and that can scale
- Involved in working with regions to win key/strategic LOB pursuits
- Internal and external thought leadership ambassador for Avanade and actively involved in achieving external recognition as a thought leader in the LOB
