As a Vision System Specialist, you will join our Automation Office, which is part of the Engineering Area of EssilorLuxottica. The main responsibilities will be the following:
Vision software development for robot guidance, quality control and dimensional inspectionVision system design in terms of hardware and optical setup definition (optics, lighting systems, cameras)Software applications development for industrial automation using vision systemsRequirements and technical specifications definition related to human-machine interface programmingInstallation, testing and startup of automated systemsSuppliers management for software development for industrial automationSoftware technical supportPORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE You do not see problems, you just see solutionsYou love challenges and you take your responsibility seriouslyExperience in programming and software design of vision systems (in particular robot guidance and calibration techniques) using Cognex products in the InSight environmentExperience in optics and lighting, applied in industrial vision systemsStrong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (mainly Ethernet-IP, OPC, CIP protocol)Basic knowledge and previous experience with industrial robotsYou are a flexible person, able to adapt in a context of constant changeYou can proactively organize your time and activities to get things doneWHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?
