DATTCO Offers: Family-oriented culture and team environment Competitive compensation Room for advancement – we promote from within Medical and dental insurance Life insurance 401k plan with company match Paid holidays Paid time off Primary responsibilities: Reports to Vehicle Electronics Supervisor Install/troubleshoot 12 volt and 24-volt electronics (cameras, GPS tracking, telematics, 2-way radios) on DATTCO and/or customer vehicles Accurately record and report information regarding installs/repairs Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions Position may require flexible shifts (weekends, overtime, and/or overnight) Responsible for ordering and controlling inventory levels High School Diploma or equivalent Must hold a valid driver's license Previous 12v/24v installation and service experience Moderate to advanced knowledge of vehicle electronics concepts such as GPS, relays and video systems School bus/coach bus experience preferred Availability to work weekends/overnights/overtime as required Able to travel to DATTCO locations in Rhode Island as well as to our headquarters in New Britain, CT Technician will be required to supply their own tools for this position Must possess the physical strength and conditioning to safely perform all required tasks Must possess excellent computer skills Must be able to work in a team environment Must be a self-starter Be able to pass a background check and drug test DATTCO is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
