YOUR TEAM Innovation and development Office, a part of the Technology Transfer Directorate at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), is seeking to appoint two Junior Project Manager that will have a key research role on planning, managing, monitoring and implementing the activities necessary for the successful completion of the Robotics and AI for Socio-Economic Empowerment Project for which IIT is the Coordinator as part of the activities, manage relations with all the Project partners supporting.
The Project aims to create and develop a highly attractive ecosystem for companies, investors and researchers, both nationally and internationally, in the field of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
The ultimate goal of the project is the transfer to the related field of the know-how generated by the ecosystem.
Your main responsibilities will be: Supporting the technology transfer center coordinator in the development of activities Supporting Principal Investigators and managers involved in the project in coordination of the consortium, controlling the overall working plan and monitoring its proper implementation in terms of deliverables, milestones and implementation of Work Packages objectives.
Supporting Principal Investigators and managers to design operative plan and tasks of the projects, their implementation and their accomplishment according to its Technical Annex.
Monitoring the scientific, technical and financial advancement and, if necessary, supporting the Principal Investigator and managers for proposing modification and new solution to make the project more effective (including options foreseen in the risk plan and amendments to the project).
Supervising and managing of communication and dissemination activities, in order to contribute to the development of information, training and reporting material on technology transfer, targeted at all the stakeholders.
Supervising and managing of exploitation plan and activities foreseen with the aim of develop an acceleration and an incubation system.
Supporting the redaction of data management planning, supervising and managing of the activities foreseen.
Managing relations with all the members of the Consortium Agreement and the stakeholders.
Collecting, reviewing and submitting technical and financial reports, other deliverables (including financial statements and related certification) and specific requested documents to the Funding Authority.
Preparing the meetings, (proposing decisions and preparing the agenda, preparing the minutes of the meetings) and monitoring the implementation of decisions taken at meetings.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS A master or bachelor degree in scientific disciplines or economics, management or a similar discipline Experience in the field of economic-financial planning for projects Experience in strategy consulting Experience in the field of reporting and data analisys A cooperative approach with the stakeholders Spirit of innovation and creativity Good command of spoken and written English Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment Familiarity with the main IT software packages, including Word and Excel ADDITIONAL SKILLS Have a MBA or a Master in Innovation will be considered a plus Good competence in information search Strong problem-solving attitude High motivation to learn Good at time and priority management Ability to work in a challenging and international environment COMPENSATION PACKAGE Competitive salary package for international standards (Salary can include bonus option depending on your role and contract) Private health care coverage (depending on your role and contract) Wide range of staff discounts 2 days of teleworking per week Flexible working time Candidates from abroad or Italian citizens who permanently work abroad and meet specific requirements, may be entitled to a deduction from taxable income of up to 90% from 6 to 13 years.
