Job Description - Transcend: Senior Manager, Business Test & Validation Lead – Innovative Medicine (2406216115W) Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Transcend: Senior Manager, Business Test & Validation Lead – Innovative Medicine! This position will be (onsite/hybrid) in Titusville, New Jersey. Alternate onsite/hybrid locations may be considered in Beerse, Belgium; Latina, Italy; Cork, Ireland; Schaffhausen, Switzerland; or Zug, Switzerland.
Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one "clean" ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility.
As part of the Project Management Office, the Business Test & Validation Lead is responsible for and accountable to the testing & validation strategy. This includes definition and creation, facilitating all aspects of test preparation, leading test execution, and driving formal closure of all testing reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Build and lead formal program test strategyIntegrate and coordinate cross-program interdependencies, issues, and challenges by working across functional areas to ensure efficient end-to-end testing and controlsHandle all activities related to the preparation and readiness for testing executionEnsure test data set up is completed, and route for pre-execution review and approvalDrive standard processes, scale, leveragability, and resource optimization to ensure cross-program end-to-end testing is implemented per planDevelop and deliver test and validation progress through established metrics to senior-level IM leaders and collaboratorsEstablish and implement exit criteria for each Test CycleLead all post-execution testing requirements and approvals, including formal Traceability Matrix enablementEnthusiastically seek to promote standard methodology and continuous improvement principles across Functional system deploymentsQualifications Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's/University or equivalent degree is requiredCertification such as PMP / FPX, APICS, Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence are preferableExperience and Skills: Required: Minimum 8 years of relevant work experienceExperience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, or large transformation programs/deploymentsProgram Management experience (preferably on large, sophisticated business transformation programs)Experience leading/developing people (direct or indirect reports)Experience managing and executing business simulation testing or user acceptance testing and validation for complex, highly integrated projectsHands-on project management/delivery experience, including experience leading projects, timelines, and organizational changeSolid understanding of JIRA, HP-ALM, or equivalent tracking toolExcellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven track record to influence/collaborate to get the desired resultStrong communication to create clear and concise messaging to leadership and the ability to work well in teams, cross-functionally, and with all levels of the organization, ability to manage and develop internal and external stakeholdersStrong analytical and quantitative skillsSAP or other major ERP implementation experiencePreferred: Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or related industryFamiliarity with software test automation tools and frameworks such as Tosca or equivalentExperience with S/4 HanaExperience with Agile MethodologyOther: Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionallyRequires up to 25% domestic and international travelRequires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each weekThis job posting is anticipated to close on October 22, 2024.
