Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Agronomy Specialist Trainee to join our Plantiverse team. This role is designed for individuals passionate about advancing in the world of sustainable agriculture and precision farming. The trainee will focus on monitoring plant health and environmental conditions, collecting data essential for training our plant-driven automation system, and contributing to the innovative field of AgriTech.
Candidates' Ideal Profile:
Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Science, or a related field.
Strong foundational knowledge in plant physiology, soil science, and agricultural practices.
Keen interest in sustainable agriculture, precision farming, and technology-driven solutions in the AgriTech sector.
Basic understanding of data collection methods and analysis.
Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Familiarity with technological tools and software used in agriculture is a plus.
Daily Tasks:
Monitor plant health and growth conditions using a variety of sensors and data collection tools.
Collect, analyze, and report data on soil moisture, nutrient levels, light exposure, and other environmental factors affecting plant growth.
Participate in developing and refining protocols for data collection to ensure high-quality inputs for the Plantiverse system training.
Collaborate with the R&D team to interpret data and suggest improvements for the plant-driven automation system.
Assist in the preparation and delivery of reports.
