In order to strengthen our engineering team we are looking to hire a Torque Management System Application Specialist based in Maranello (Italy). You will work within the Vehicle Dynamics Department and the ideal candidate is an experienced engineer, passionate about Powertrain control systems and components, with specific focus on the vehicle application (calibration).
In this position, you will be responsible for:
• Ensure the target achievement process, supporting the virtual and experimental development
• Support the complete vehicle development process by means of virtual release of features in the early stages
• Diagnose issues risen during the experimental phase
• Support Innovation
In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent. You should ideally have experienced on powertrain ICE and BEV architectures and calibration of the control strategies, taking advantage of associated tools (e.g. Canape, INCA).
Availability to travel on monthly basis to experimental development in various proving grounds.
In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, strong communication skills and accountability are important skillset to manage activities and responsibility of the role. It is important to be proactive proposing new solutions to optimize all the processes and activities.
Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage. We appreciate individuals with experience outside their country of origin, allowing for a multicultural mindset.
