Purpose of Position:IRCA is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Specialist with 4-5 years of experience to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our direct and indirect tax obligations, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws, and supporting our overall tax strategy.
This role involves close collaboration with various departments within the company and requires a strong understanding of tax regulations and their impact on business operations.Description of main Activities / responsibilities:Tax Compliance: Overseen the timely prepare and file corporate income tax returns and indirect tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulationsTax Provisions: Assist in the calculation and reporting of tax provisions for financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standardsTransfer Pricing: Support the preparation and documentation of transfer pricing policies and ensure compliance with the arm's length principleTax Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax positions across both direct and indirect taxesIndirect Tax Advisory: Provide guidance on indirect tax matters to internal stakeholders, ensuring that business operations align with indirect tax requirementsAudit Support: Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, including preparing responses and providing necessary documentationTransaction Analysis: Review and analyze business transactions to determine appropriate tax treatment for both direct and indirect taxesCross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as finance, legal, and operations, to understand the tax implications of business decisions and provide integrated tax solutionsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CTA) is preferred.Professional Skills:Experience in a multinational company or public accounting firm is preferredExperience of local and international tax laws and regulationsExperience with tax compliance and reporting, including corporate income tax and indirect taxExperiences:4-5 years of experience in tax, with a focus on both direct and indirect taxesLanguage Skills:Proficiency in Italian and English is requiredComputer Skills:Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Behavioural requirements:Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
