**MISSION**
You will have two main missions:
- Manage our local Supply Chain Team
- Manage all processes and activities related to Supply Chain (demand and supply planning, ordering, tolling, logistics (warehousing & shipping), customer service activities...)
Your role is to ensure that products are available on time, with the right quality and quantity to our customers, while minimizing stock holding for SBM Life Science Italy.
**MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES**
**1) Logistic Management**: Ensure warehousing & shipping performance, by:
- You will develop the country's logistics strategy, in line with the European SC function.
- You will be in charge of setting up and following KPI's for external provider performance
- Developing annual plans to drive performance standards and improve efficience
- Providing monthly reports and forecas
Driving communication with between external providers and internal team
**2) Customer Service**:Ensure Customer Service team processes orders according to company standards, by:
- You will be responsible for leading, managing and developing the customer service team
- You will have to set up and follow KPI
- You will submit improvement plans to the line manager
- Ensure accurate supplier Master Data in the system, by ensuring Global guideline are applied locally and providing the necessary information to Global Master Data Team
**3) Demand Planning**:Ensure accurate monthly demand planning, by:
- You will have to collaborate with all local teams (Reg, Sales, Marketing).
- following forecast accuracy on key product's categories
**4) S&OP Process**:Manage & solve stock availability related issues, by:
- Planning and running the local S&OP process, involving Sales, Marketing, Regulatory and Supply Chain teams
- Identifying stock issues and pushing for actions
- Setting up and measuring KPI's
- Collaborating with the Central SC teams in order to find the right solution for the Country
**5) Local Management Team**:Lead, manage and develop the team by:
- Providing clear objectives, timelines and ways of working
- You will be responsible to Identifie strengths and development areas to be addressed and nurtured
- You will track performance and provide feedback for improvement and recognition
- Take part in the management activities, by:
- Demonstrating and upholding our core values
- Communicating company directives
- Attending steering committees and representing the company at official bodies/institutional level
**Technical Skills**
- You know how to increase customer involvement management
- You have a continuous improvement mindset, and you have the ability to influence peers, leaders, and other functions
- To be successful in the supply chain manager role, you must have problem solving orientation
- You are comfortable with information technology in reference data management, Sage, CRM also.
- You know how to manage KPIs
- You will be required to communicate internationally, so it is imperative to be fluent in English and other languages would be a plus
**Experience**
- You have proven experience in managing cross-functional and/or multiple countries.
- You have proven experience in IT and operation
- You have proven experience in Logistics ideally in the "Specialized" distribution (chemical industry for e.g)
**Unlimited contract to be filled as soon as possible.
