To ensure a high voter turnout later this year, we are partnering with the National Urban League to mobilize voters across the country as part of the Reclaim Your Vote campaign.General OverviewThe position will be located in WI, MI, GA, NC or PA and will involve significant travel within 1-3 of these states. We are not relocating for this position, you must already be based in one of these states. You should expect to work 50-65 hours per week depending on how close to elections or other deadlines your project is. This is a full time position for an experienced project and people manager who loves working on social change campaigns.ResponsibilitiesProject Management: Work as a strategic partner with Project Director in developing and executing campaign strategy. Keep close attention to project deliverables and proactively identify problems in the program and propose proactive solutions.Staff Management: Manage multiple teams of canvassers and ensure your team adheres to administrative and HR requirements.Client Management: Approach all work with the priority of "wow-ing" our client through professionalism, integrity, and achieving goals.Technology and Administration: Submit accurate expense reports and updates and ensure payroll is accurate for your team.Company + Infrastructure Development: Tackle Special Projects during slow times or in between projects.This job may be for you if you:Share The Outreach Team's passion for social and political change and commitment to prioritizing equity and justice in our work and team culture.Are a swift decision maker and creative problem solver.Can adapt to sudden shifts in project goals or timelines.Can teach key skills, coach and train staff on their jobs well while motivating them along the way.Qualifications (the must-haves)Live in and have experience on campaigns in WI, MI, GA, NC and/or PA.Experience managing a diverse team in a fast-paced or goals-based environment.A track record of results; hitting goals and meeting benchmarks.Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel/Sheets.CompensationThis is a salaried position with a range of $59,600 - $73,400 per year depending on experience, plus an additional performance-based bonus at the end of every project.
