SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT (SA) Language ServicesAs a Language Services Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cutting-edge language technology solutions that address our clients' diverse linguistic needs. You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create innovative language solutions that enhance communication, content localization, and multilingual capabilities.
Reports to: Head of Sales
RESPONSIBILITIES:Program DesignCollaborate with clients to understand their language-related challenges and requirements.Develop comprehensive, scalable, and customized language solutions that align with clients' business goals and industry best practices.Lead technical and process aspects of early sales and project planning meetings with client representatives, business and project management owners.Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring clients have a deep understanding of proposed solutions.Determine best approach and technology configurations for content localization and transformation.Author, communicate, and deliver vision and detail to win RFPs through proposal writing and presentations.Craft production program overviews for new service lines in conjunction with stakeholders.Program ImplementationConfigure and communicate processes for internal and 3rd party Cat-Tools for instance: Phrase, Smartling, SDL Trados Studio, Across etc.Define detailed localization production steps in conjunction with production staff.Inform and communicate new production needs (for instance new BMS/TMS Connectors, etc.) on behalf of business stakeholders.Create detailed technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, specifications, and user guides.Consult on TMS setup and configuration and the use of other 3rd party localization tools and standards.Troubleshoot and find solutions to problems arising in engineering and production processes to defined quality standards.Design and oversee the integration of language solutions into clients' existing systems and workflows.Ensure the quality and accuracy of language solutions by conducting thorough testing, troubleshooting, and optimization.Program SupportSupport marketing organization through writing and creating content.Represent the company within industry forums and conference attendance.Take responsibility for mentoring team members, providing training and support to the production team on the localization tool usage.Develop measurable cost savings initiatives through efficiencies and optimization.Reference point for production teams in case of escalating problems related to internal and external technology infrastructure.Proactively identify opportunities for innovation in the language industry.REQUIREMENTSProven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role within the language industry (5+ years).English Full Professional Knowledge.Italian Language Proficiency is a plus.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and cross-functional teams.Analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a track record of delivering innovative and impactful language solutions.Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.Strong knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) technologies, machine translation, localization, and content management systems.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ and experience with relevant frameworks and libraries are welcome.Familiarity with API integration.Flexibility and ability to learn new technologies.YELLOW HUB OFFERS:Stable positionCareer opportunitiesTotally remote or hybrid smart-workingStimulating work environmentRemuneration in line with competence and skills of the candidate.
