Brain Technologies is searching for a skilled Software Product Assurance (SWPA) Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of software used in advanced space mission applications. This role requires a deep understanding of software life cycles, quality assurance practices, and space industry standards.
You will work closely with development teams, subcontractors, and quality stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of software integrity.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Software Product Assurance Plans (SWPA) in line with project requirements and industry standards.Establish and oversee Software Product Assurance Requirements for subcontractors and ensure adherence throughout the project.Review internal and subcontractor-provided software documentation.Participate actively in software reviews, including SRR, PDR, CDR, QR, TRR, TRB, and DRB.Ensure robust configuration management for both in-house developed and procured software products.Manage and monitor Software Non-Conformances and Problem Reports across all testing stages, including unit testing, integration testing, and validation phases.Conduct code static analysis using tools such as Logiscope and Coverity.Collect, compute, and analyze software quality metrics.Prepare and maintain milestone reports and provide inputs for project progress updates.Support the Independent Software Verification and Validation (ISVV) process.Monitor subcontractor software development and validation activities.Participate in internal meetings and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Proven experience in software product assurance or quality assurance within aerospace or space systems.Familiarity with ECSS standards, Galileo software standards, DO standards, or similar.Strong understanding of software life cycle management, including development, validation, and problem resolution.Experience with tools like Logiscope, Coverity, or equivalent for code analysis.Hands-on experience with GitLab.Proficiency in preparing technical reports and maintaining detailed documentation.Preferred Skills: Prior experience with space mission projects or applications.Knowledge of quality management systems and risk mitigation strategies.Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with stringent quality and reliability standards.What we offer: An employment contract commensurate with your profile.Responsibility and growth opportunities.Flexible and dynamic environment.Flat organizational structure.International environment.Welfare benefits.Health insurance.Please send your CV with a photo in Word or PDF format and only if you meet the required qualifications.
