Main tasks include the analysis of customer requirements, generation of system architecture, formal system requirements, validation methods, verification procedures, product installation support, and coordination of system development, integration, and qualification/certification activities.Duties and Responsibilities:Define System Development Plans according to recognized standards (ARP4754, ARP4761).Organize and manage documentation for program development.Define High-level System Requirements and System Architecture.Flow down requirements from system to items level (SW, HW, MECH, etc.
).Review, gather, and analyze low-level requirements for various subassemblies and components.Conduct static and dynamic analysis of IMU performance.Define system integration and test of INS/AHRS/IMU with complex software and hardware.Manage system qualification according to recognized standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461).Review and approve technical design documents and data.Review and approve acceptance test reports and qualification test reports.Release all required deliverables to meet contractual milestones.Provide detailed task schedules and update the Program Master Schedule (Gantt chart).Interface with various company departments (Engineering, Product Engineering, Prototype Manufacturing, Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Supply Chain).Participate in defining new products to support the technology roadmap.Evaluate technical specifications in bid/request for proposals (RFP).Act as technical reference and main interface for the customer.Provide technical interface with subcontractors in support of Procurement.Qualification and Skills:Required Skills:University degree in Electronics, Opto-Electronics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent.Knowledge of avionics, navigation algorithms, and control systems theory.Familiarity with communication interfaces and protocols.Knowledge of RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 standards.Proficiency in MathWorks MATLAB/Simulink.Experience with requirements management tools (preferred IBM Rational DOORS).Understanding of system safety concepts and reliability assessment.Familiarity with Microsoft Projects and Project Management Terminology.Ability to lead and motivate a team, work under pressure, and negotiate priorities.Effective communication skills across different audiences.Organizational skills for managing project documentation.Ability to investigate system failures or anomalies.Knowledge of English (at least intermediate level).Preferred Skills:Knowledge of reliability prediction standards (preferred MIL-HDBK-217F).Knowledge of model-based design.
