Senior Stress Engineer

Senior Stress Engineer (RQ 4) Qualification: ME / M.Tech in Mechanical or Aerospace from a reputed institute Experience: 7-10 years of experience in the aerospace domain, handling design/analysis projects in the areas of fuselage structures.
Very good knowledge of finite element methods, design calculations (conventional strength of material approach), and hands-on experience in NASTRAN / PATRAN.
A comprehensive appreciation of airframe structural principles and theory.
Skills: Software User Experience: Nastran, Patran, ISAMI Suite, Nasgro, Ansys Fluent Familiarity with aerospace design requirements Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis MS Office Skills, VBA MACRO generation Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
Good verbal and written English skills are essential.
Roles and Responsibilities: Carry out finite element analysis for stress, dynamics, and thermal requirements, engineering calculations for the airframe and jigs fixtures sizing calculations, and reporting.
Evaluating material options.
Evaluate different design options/configurations.
Mass estimation.
Interface with the design group for evaluation and reporting on product analysis and communication of appropriate solutions.
Creation of technical/design reports/documents.
Interaction with manufacturing agencies to evaluate options.
Interaction with customers to understand their requirements and deliver on time and with quality.
Willingness to travel.
