Senior Specialist - Technical Development PU Systems Conti In the Performance Materials Division, we develop innovative plastics and foams for all kinds of applications. Whether it is for cars, buildings or sporting goods – we always look for the ideal material solution. To do this, we work closely with our customers: from production and logistics to research and sales, all the way to component testing, design consulting and simulation. The candidate coordinates and supports the technical development activities for a sub-region according to Marketing, Technical Development guidelines. Provides technical support to a selected market/country/customers portfolio. The main tasks will be: Strategic customer service: conduct technical account management and technical steering of cross-regional key accounts regarding selection, processing, registration and approval of products. Solving processing problems and providing advice on general processing issues. Develop customer specific product specifications in cooperation with product development, quality management and performance management. Manage technically a defined product portfolio for a sub region, assess whether it is technically necessary to develop new products and assess the technical feasibility, translating the demands of applications into product specifications - both locally and regionally. Coordinate the sub regional technical contact cube, i.e. ensuring the flow of technical information within the business unit. Collecting information on competitors' products and technologies, observing technical market and development trends for regulatory purposes and in order to contribute to creating road maps. Provide technical management for launching newly developed products on the market. Involvement in global product positioning. Participate in the relevant segment teams (Marketing/Product Development) and reports, e.g. via Salesforce. Mentor and coach new colleagues and provide functional leadership of subregional/project team members. Support product development colleagues in developing and positioning new materials in selected applications. COSA POTRESTI OFFRIRCI Degree in chemical subjects.
