A Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is expected to demonstrate a strong passion and proficiency in Quality Assurance and Testing. This role encompasses a broad range of activities including involvement in testing, test planning, reporting, escalation of issues, and bug management. Our Senior QA Engineer will: Design, write, review, and execute manual test cases at functional, integration, and end-to-end levels. Timely escalation of high/critical issues to facilitate resolution within planned timelines. Efficient bug reporting and management. Conduct Test Case and User Story test coverage reviews. Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to ensure comprehensive completion of testing. Enforce quality gates in accordance with QA and Release strategies. Contribute to test planning for releases, encompassing manual, automation, and non-functional testing. Participate in the release sign-off process. Enhance the Automation Stream for specific modules by running and analyzing automated test cases. Mentor other team members to ensure effective knowledge transfer. A great candidate will have: Minimum of 2 to 5 years dedicated QA/Testing experience. Proficient in manual testing across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically in Functional Testing. Experienced in bug management, including maintaining data quality within bug management tools and driving the resolution and retesting of identified issues. Demonstrated experience working within Scrum or Kanban teams with a robust understanding of Agile methodologies. Knowledge of industry best practices related to testing, such as ISTQB/TMMI certifications. Skilled in writing comprehensive Test Plans and reports. Basic knowledge of SQL. ISTQB certification is highly desirable. Knowledge of any programming or scripting languages. Experience in automation testing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
