We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager on a Permanent basis to join the team at our office in Rome.
The project manager has the overall responsibility during the whole Project Execution and Execution Readiness phases from Sales until final acceptance and handover to Service. Ensure and lead the team to the achievement of the KPIs of the project and the fulfilment of the contract.
YOUR TASKThe project Manager has the overall responsibility during the whole Project Execution and Execution Readiness phases until final acceptance and handover to Service. He shall manage, coordinate and lead the project team and has the authority for all aspects in order to secure a safe and successful implementation of the wind farm installation in terms of costs, quality and time and the rest of KPI's the PMs are in charge of.The project Manager should also act as an "internal representative" of the project to support services in the organization. He is the main contact person and interface between all departments, with regards to anything related to the project. Therefore, PM is responsible for the alignment with the different functions in the defined interfaces as Global Sourcing, Legal, HSE, Quality, Supply Chain or all the operational departments.Responsible for the financial aspects of the project and additionally he should ensure the risk analysis of the project and should implement all the mitigation plans needed in advance.Ensure the implementation of all the QHSE policies defined by the company in all the project phases. Ensure fulfilment of HSE and technical requirements at the wind farm site. Responsible for the safety of the project team and all subcontractors on site as well as other stakeholders affected by this work.Management of institutional relationships when applicable, commercials and contractual discussions with the main stakeholders in relation to the project management and operation execution, claims, disputes, and any matter of a contractual nature with clients and suppliers.First point of contact for all parties involved in the project such as customer, subcontractors, suppliers and any other internal or external party.Responsible for claim management from/to customer: e.g. change orders, monthly invoices, cash collection etc.Representing Nordex organization to our clients – creating a good relationship with the client and delivering customer satisfaction.Ensure set up and maintenance of PM tools (schedule, risk matrix, forecast, Org Chart, Upvise etc.) Secure frequent on-site visits.Control and reporting of the performance indicators defined by the PM department.YOUR PROFILE:Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Manager in operative project execution and construction management for complex technical projects either in civil construction, manufacturing and plant engineering industry, the wind energy sector and/or similar industries/energy sectors; experience with turnkey projects preferable.Experience in project management including full responsibility for multi-million EUR contracts with strong commercial and financial acumen.Technical background with a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in engineering.YOUR BENEFITS:In addition to the opportunity to make our world a little more sustainable, we offer you:
