The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Trieste, but also other locations are possible.What you will be doingAs Product Lifecycle Engineer, W46, W46TS, W50 in Power Supply - Product Management and Sales Support organization, you will play a crucial part in supporting our sales.
You will work closely with the Technical and Commercial Manager for the product to achieve our set product development and profitability goals.
Reporting to the Head of Product Management Product Owner, W46, W46TS, W50, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our organisation.As Product Lifecycle Engineer for W46, W46TS, W50, your work will focus on these responsibilities:Competitor evaluation and benchmarkingProduct related technical information creation and maintenance for internal and external useSupport cost/saving target materializationSupport Sales and Sales engineering on technical mattersParticipate in developing engine products together with other colleaguesMaintain, coordinate change work, improve and implement new features in product manualsManage Non Standard Requests on time and effectivelyParticipate in selected external meetings representing product management for own productsProactively provide input and improvement suggestions on WoW and process development for Product Management Competitor evaluation and benchmarkingTo be successful in this role we expect you to have:Good communication and presentation skillsGood negotiation and influencing skillsProactive, positive and can-do attitudeAbility to work in cross-functional organisationRelevant academic background (BSc, MSc in engineering)Marine or energy engine market business understandingUnderstand customer technical needs requirementsGive inputs for way of working and continuously seeking for potential process improvementsUnderstanding product performances and mechanical featuresCapable of creating product guide contentFluent in written and spoken EnglishIn this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world.
