Senior Product Assurance ManagerLocation: Turin, Italy
Job Description: The incumbent represents the Customer within an Institutional Project for all Quality related matters, and as such she/he will ensure that Product Assurance activities in the frame of that specific Project are carried out in compliance with Company Quality Management System, Standards and Regulations, and Contract Requirements. To this aim she/he will:
Establish and maintain appropriate interface with the Customer Quality representative, for all relevant PA matters.Represent the privileged interface for the Project Management team for all relevant PA matters.Establish the Project PA Plan (if applicable), in accordance with the PA requirements, and ensure that it is correctly implemented throughout the Project.Coordinate the activities of the Project Quality team, ensuring that the PA Plan is correctly flowed down at all levels, internally and towards external suppliers.Prepare and maintain throughout the Project Quality documents under her/his responsibility, and verify other Quality / Project documents.Ensure that all processes related to NC's management are in place and implemented, internally and within suppliers and sub-contractors, giving visibility to the Customer as relevant.Ensure a proper reporting of Quality aspects towards the Customer, the PMO, and the management.Ensure participation in (internal and Customer) Project meetings and reviews as relevant, providing Quality contribution whenever necessary.Monitor the expenditures of the Quality team on the Project, and highlight/discuss discrepancies with the Quality team and the PM as necessary.Ensure that lessons learnt are formalized, capitalized & promoted.Exercise the duty of alerts and the right of veto according to existing processes.Ensure that Risk Management processes are well executed, and provide proactive contributions.Ensure that continuous improvement processes are in place and implemented.Main Interfaces: TAS Project Manager and Project team.Customer PA Manager and Project team.TAS Project Quality team members.Quality representatives of suppliers and partners, as applicable.Required Experiences and Skills: 10 years' experience in the Space Domain.5 years in Quality (preferably as PA Manager).Knowledge of ECSS (especially Q-series).Capability to effectively coordinate and delegate.Capability to effectively interface at management level.Very good communication and negotiation skills.Proactivity, open-mindedness.Fluency in English.At Thales Alenia Space we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
