MOL Group Chemicals Division is looking for an experienced professional to be our Senior Market Developer.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Contribution to MOL Group Petrochemicals strategic goals and annual volume/margin targets through driving and coordinating cross-functional efforts in developing and launching applications of polymer products, both at existing and new customers across Europe. This position will strengthen value selling capabilities by increasing our market orientation and successful commercialization of key projects. It will be responsible for understanding every aspect of the markets/applications it is responsible for and thus direct our resources toward meeting the wants and needs of customers. Because of the extensive market knowledge, it will be seen by our customers as a solution provider and will help us achieve greater customer intimacy.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Own, drive and develop sales pipeline in target applications (either directly or through Sales) through introduction of new and existing MOL Group polymer products at new and existing customers in Europe. Continuously observe the trends for applications she/he is responsible for via market studies, internet research, exhibitions, and customer visits. Regularly meet customers that work in target applications to further develop and sell the value proposition. Prepares the ground for the sales process to happen. Look for new customers in target applications. Get current customers to use our products in a new way. Manage market introduction of products targeting those applications she/he is responsible for. Provide input to Expert Team by feeding ideas for new product developments. Drive application development and be a project owner for new product development projects targeting his/her applications. Define product technical requirements based on market expectations. Identify profitability drivers and contribute to formulation of business directions for product and customer portfolio development. Coordinate collection of relevant technical feedback from customers with the overall goal to reenergize customer-focused innovation activity in line with MOL Group Petrochemicals strategy. Coordinate product testing and support sales activities in Europe. Internal collaboration
Lead creation of value proposition for products meant to be used in those applications. Collaborate with R&D and Technical Service for the application testing of our products. Provide market inputs for business/product development projects, price proposals to support market penetration in line with the marketing strategy. Requisition
MSc degree, preferably in engineering, chemistry, polymer chemistry. 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in polymer plastic processes, polymer production, quality control, and experience in the technical service field. Proven relevant technical knowledge and relevant industry knowledge. High level of negotiation skills. Global mentality, flexibility, mobility across Europe. #J-18808-Ljbffr
