We have an exciting new opportunity for a (Senior) Global Product Manager to join our PCR Core Laboratory Franchise – Infectious Diseases with a focus on the NeuMoDx instrumentation and associated assays.Key responsibilities:- Work in interdisciplinary project teams as the voice of customer throughout all project phases from requirements setting to the launch of new in-vitro diagnostic instruments- Develop and implement marketing and launch plans in collaboration with regional marketing teams, monitor and coordinate the implementation of activities according to plan- Assess market demands and user needs and develop market entry strategies for new products- Manage product launches including training of trainers and toolbox for training, work with Marketing Centers of Excellence to produce marketing and technical literature on time and in budget- Product Maintenance: ongoing care and support of product line, including monitoring customer satisfaction, competitor activity, new customer needs and sales support materials, product changes.Position Requirements - Scientific degree (or equivalent employment experience), PhD and/ or MBA degree is a plus- Significant working experience in a Product Management (or similar) role in the Life Science/ IVD industry- Essential: knowledge of molecular diagnostics with specific focus on PCR and infectious diseases- Fluent written and spoken English, good knowledge of a second language is a plus- Ability and willingness to travel internationally around 20%What we offer At the heart of QIAGEN are our people who drive our success.
