SUBHEADLINE The Douglas Group's Demand Forecasting & Order Management forecasts the future demand for goods in the core markets for both the e-commerce and the store business and orders goods on this basis. State-of-the-art AI algorithms are used for this purpose (Relex software). In our headquarter in Milan, we are looking for a Senior Demand Planner for the IT, ES + PT Region.
TASKS WITH IMPACT
Daily reordering across all categories for the store and e-com business with the responsibility for the countries Italy (Focus country: Italy) and Spain
Data-driven working: Daily monitoring on forecast bias & accuracy, availability of goods, inventory levels data quality, master data, safety stock etc. via Relex and BI software
Evaluation of extra order requests from purchasing or marketing team as well as from our suppliers
Follow-up of orders with assigned suppliers
Close collaboration with neighboring departments and our suppliers
Creating views & dashboards in Relex, reports & ad-hoc analysis
Close coordination with the global D&O team across the countries to ensure knowledge sharing, as well as relevant interfaces of the other departments
Raise potential improvements on Relex configuration from daily business and ordering to responsible Head of Demand & Order Management Southern Europe
Relex: State of the Art Forecast and Replenishment software based on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence; previous knowledge is an advantage, but not mandatory due to extensive onboarding training and user-friendliness of the software
