Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international trading house looking to hire a Senior Cement Trader to join the team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks Conduct in-depth analysis of local and international markets to identify and capitalise on trading opportunities, staying current with market trends and developments. Secure strategic suppliers and reliable buyers, ensuring effective management of relationships on both sides to facilitate seamless trade transactions. Collaborate closely with the trade operations team to oversee efficient cargo handling, optimizing costs and managing risks throughout the trade process. Draft contracts with favourable terms that protect the organization's interests while ensuring client satisfaction, actively participating in negotiations. Role reports to Managing Director of Trading. Key Qualifications / Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in bulk commodities trading within the cement industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing relationships on both the supplier and buyer sides. Deep understanding of chartering and shipping operations to effectively oversee freight management. Demonstrated ability to expand a trading portfolio by entering new markets or introducing new products. High emotional intelligence (EQ), strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, logical problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be located in Dubai / readiness to relocate.
