Seller Experience-Deals Business Analyst, EU MarketplaceDESCRIPTIONThe Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst on Seller Experience (SX) & Deals teams is responsible for driving data-driven insights and reporting to support the SX and Deals streams.
This role will work closely with cross-functional partners to design, build, and maintain dashboards and analysis that provide visibility into key seller metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and measure the impact of SX and Deals initiatives.
The BI Analyst navigates large data sets, automates data extraction, and converts complex information into digestible business intelligence - ultimately informing actionable plans to enhance the end-to-end seller journey and develop the optimal strategies for the 3P Deals program.Key job responsibilitiesSeller Experience (SX)Manage Seller Experience metrics, designing and automating reporting, and implement mechanisms to monitor weekly, monthly, and quarterly trends and generate relevant insights and callouts.Socialize SX initiatives, status updates, and performance impact to drive broader awareness and adoption among the 3P seller community.Conduct ad-hoc deep-dive analyses on areas such as seller attrition, support, and other priority topics to uncover opportunities for improvement.Partner with SX, BI, and metrics owner teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reliability of SX reporting.Create ad-hoc seller surveys to gather qualitative insights on SX-related pain points and experiences.DealsAssessing the impact of new quality guardrails being introduced for Deals, such as lowest 30-day net price, fees for Prime-Exclusive Discounts, and changes to 'was' price computation.Conduct pre-post analyses to compare the actual impact of these changes against expectations, and benchmark the impacts across EU locales and vs. the US/JP markets.Develop dashboards with the top impacted Sellers by cohort (e.g., new vs. established) and collect Voice of Seller (VoS) feedback to supplement the quantitative data.Provide the 3P Deals team with a clear understanding of how these new quality guardrails affect the program's performance, so they can adjust their strategies accordingly.Share feedback with the worldwide product teams to help them keep improving the Deals requirements and their implementation.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSQualifications:1-2 years of experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or reporting role, preferably in an e-commerce, marketplace, or technology environment.Strong SQL and data skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into robust data models.Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Quicksight) and creating intuitive, user-friendly dashboards.Excellent communication and ability to translate complex data into practical insights.Passion for programming languages and quantitative topics (e.g., Statistics, Economics).Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Fluent in English.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPassion for programming languages and quantitative topics (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Computer Science).Excellent communication and ability to translate complex data into practical insights.
