Details of the job GENERAL ROLE The Stock Operations Manager ensures optimal management of store stocks to enable sales teams to offer the best service to customers, supervising stock operations and supporting other teams.
He/She is responsible for all physical and corporate software product flows, ensuring that store stock is constantly accurate and well-organized, in strict respect of Group procedures.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES Team and transversal management Manage the stock controller and organize day-to-day work; Set objectives and conduct appraisals, providing regular feedback; Train, coach, and develop team members; Liaise with the Store Manager and Sales Team as necessary; Act as the entry point for all stock-related questions and issues; Assign corrective actions to store team members for stock-related issues; Contribute to team meetings and report on operational issues and stock-related KPIs.
Day-to-day operations and controls for perfect stock accuracy Manage and support the team on processing all incoming and outbound product flows; Monitor and organize cancellation and reintegration of expired reservations; Supervise and correct negative stocks; Manage detective/shop-soiled products.
Stock takes & cycle counts Plan and ensure appropriate preparation of stock takes and cycle counts; Contribute to scanning and investigations; Produce final reports for the Finance Department; Propose actions to improve stock take results and reduce shrinkage.
Maintenance & security Monitor and organize the boutique to ensure timely interventions and quality controls; Manage external security agents in coordination with the Store Manager.
Define and implement an optimized organization of storage Define and communicate storage best practices in line with business needs; Proactively adjust processes as necessary.
Stock related procedures Ensure appropriate application of storage rules and stock procedures; Act as the store's key user and trainer on stock-related processes; Raise alerts and propose action plans to optimize flows and simplify operations.
Replenishment flows Liaise with the Store Manager to pull the right products; Manage replenishment processes in coordination with the Store Manager; Assist store management in monitoring overall stock and preparing purchases.
PROFILE Bachelor's and Master's Degree, preferably with an analytical focus; Very organized, rigorous, reliable, and proactive; Fluency in Italian and English; a third language is an advantage; Professional background in stock and managerial positions, preferably in luxury fashion retail; Proficient in Excel and IT tools; Service-oriented and proactive in proposing improvements; Strong management skills and ability to lead and motivate a team; Professionalism, enthusiasm, dynamism, and teamwork.
