- Conduct backlog reviews with the product owner to ensure stakeholders are being managed and the product backlog is clearly understood by all parties.
- Conduct sprint reviews with the product owner and development team to ensure the product backlog is clearly understood and is sensible.
- Manage the daily standup meetings.
Ensure attendance and participation is up to scratch.
- Through the standup process ensure that the development team are focused on the key sprint deliverables and identifying any impediments in a timely manner
- Appraise the development process with respect to quality.
Are there any team members that need support and coaching.
Identify any engineering challenges
- Appraise the effectiveness of the test automation processes and identify any problems to management.
- Appraise the timeliness of the development process compared to estimates.
- Evaluate and track estimate accuracy at the team member level.
- Identify any team conflicts and discuss options to resolve with functional management.
- Ensure that the team definition of Done maintaining the quality we expect.
- Identify, report on and help remove impediments (at team level)
- Facilitate Team Events (such as stand ups, reviews & retrospectives)
- Report KPIs, analyse achievements and problems
- Ensure daily statistics are updated on information radiators
- Coach the cross-functional teams
- Report team velocity & burn down chart and continuously improve processes, time & quality
- Continuously check Product Backlog quality (work with Product Owner on improvements & grooming of backlog)
- Check iteration goal matches Customer Scope (and therefore business value and ROI)
- Participate in root cause analysis to improve team efficiency
**Requirements**:
- System thinking (in addition to strategic thinking)
- Lean Agile leadership experience across multiple large and complex projects, across distributed teams, across multiple locations
- Be a strong leader with experience in measuring Agile project against Lean portfolio metrics
- Have strong backlog management and facilitation techniques
- JIRA configuration and management
- Must be familiar with software development lifecycle and understand customer centricity
- Have strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external, in an Agile delivery environment
- Strong communication skills with all the key stakeholders to ensure Project scope is understood and implemented correctly
- Be an advocate of continuous improvement and industry recognized best practices in Agile
- Excellent knowledge of Risk Management, risk identification and risked based planning
- Proactive, strong-minded, quick thinker and assertive.
- Able to motivate a team, recognize good talent and bring the best out of each individual
- Excellent communicator, influencing skills and negotiation skills to get management buy-in on ideas and concepts;
- Must be able to pass a security background investigation
- Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum environments is considered an asset
- Willingness to travel
- Good analytical, written and verbal communication skills
**Professional Experience/Seniority**:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- US regulatory certification understanding and experience
- Experience in a technology related industry
- Gaming experience is a great advantage
- Experience with Jira;
- Three + years of project management experience with demonstrated success delivering systems including experience managing schedules, budgets, and scope.
**Qualification**:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Management, Business, Engineering or Information Technology) or equivalent experience
