The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key executive responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and management of SPiN. The CFO works closely with other executives, providing financial leadership and guidance to drive sustainable growth and create long-term shareholder value, with transparency and compliance with Italy, Germany, Luxembourg, the UK, and the USA regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership: develop and implement financial strategy in line with business goals; Budgeting and Forecasting: lead budgeting and prepare financial forecasts; Performance Analysis: monitor financial performance against budgets, presenting timely statements; Risk Management: identify and manage financial risks, making informed investment decisions; Treasury Management: oversee cash, investments, and banking relationships; Efficient Financial Systems: manage financial systems and implement upgrades as needed; Compliance and Legal Oversight: ensure compliance with regulations and collaborate with legal counsel; Capital Structure Management: manage capital structure, evaluating financing options when necessary; Team Leadership: supervise finance personnel and manage vendor relationships. Qualifications
At least 5 years of proven experience as CFO or senior financial controller in the industry, preferably in the space sector; MBA, Master of Finance, or equivalent; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Italy preferred; Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is preferred; Knowledge of international accounting standards; Experience in working with IT systems; Experience working with another country's accounting standard (For example, Germany) is an advantage; Strong leadership and organisational skills; High Negotiation and Deal-Making skills; Outstanding ethical standards and commitment; Fluent in English and Italian, with knowledge of another language such as German or French is a plus.
