Location: outside of Wausau, WI Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 Base Salary + up to 15% Bonus Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, HSA, Paid Time Off Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried Typical Hours Per Week: 8 AM to 6 PM (Flex); 50 hours per week; 1 weekend day/month Store Hours: Mon-Sun, 6 AM – 10 PM Start Date: ASAP Travel: None Sponsorship: Not available Relocation Assistance: Available Retail Store Manager Description Our client, a highly respected grocery retailer in Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead their 50,000-square-foot store in Lincoln County, WI.
This role calls for a leader with a background in managing perishables and overseeing teams of 30+ employees.
As Store Manager, you will drive overall store performance, spearhead inventory resets, and spend approximately 70% of your time on the floor, actively engaging with your well-staffed team.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, resourceful, and collaborative leader with a proven track record of success in large-scale retail operations.

Retail Store Manager Responsibilities • Lead store operations, profitability, and customer satisfaction
• Manage staff of 80–90, including Assistant Managers and department leads
• Coach team members and assign daily tasks
• Oversee inventory, scheduling, and customer service
• Track KPIs and address performance concerns
• Implement merchandising and marketing plans
• Troubleshoot system issues and support cashiers
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Align store culture with company values
• Build strong relationships with staff, vendors, and corporate teams
Retail Store Manager Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a retail store manager or supervisor required
• Experience managing perishable food products required
• Experience leading or managing teams of 30+ employees required
• Proficiency with MS Office applications required
