BAT ITALY IS LOOKING FOR A RESEARCH AND INSIGHTS SPECIALIST SENIORITY LEVEL: Experienced Professional FUNCTION: Marketing CITY & COUNTRY: Rome, Italy TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent WORK ARRANGEMENT: hybrid ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES British American Tobacco is looking for a Research And Insights Specialist to support the development of in market consumer, customer and competitor insights to improve marketing deployment and drive the business to consumer centricity.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR Support in conducting market research in line with Global and Regional agenda by ensuring that research Agencies develop an appropriate, cost-effective and high-quality work Support the development of in-market consumer, customer, and competitor insights by developing and maintaining comprehensive competitive analysis; Support the delivery of the Insights Learning Review to feed global strategy deep dives; Deliver robust research projects to deliver consumer-centric, actionable, and forward-looking insights.
Provide insights to understand consumer behavior, perceptions, and needs in relation to the product landscape, to drive the development of differentiated offers into our portfolio; Support development and delivery of End Markets Consumer insights and diagnostics to inform brand strategy, improve deployment and drive business towards consumer centricity.
Support in running all research projects in line with Global and Regional agenda and this is effectively integrated into the management information system and communicated to the Management Team.
Control, analyze, interpret and report research projects following ORACLE guidelines, within time and budget.
Exhibit leadership capabilities in engagement with key stakeholders through behaviors and attitudes which are in line with the guiding principles ensuring effective relations within the I&F team and cross-functional networking to develop effective and integrated insights.
Continually improve the quality of research tools and processes within the function to support the delivery of consumer-centric insights.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Previous minimum 2 years of experience.
Mandatory Market Research experience within an agency Masters degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Market Research, or a similar discipline).
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBi knowledge; Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an aptitude for identifying patterns, trends, and insights from various sources.
Strong collaboration skills and a proactive attitude, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas to diverse audiences Proficient level of spoken and written English & Italian.
