Description of the research activity: The research activities in the START project include research into the potential of biointelligent transformation in the industrial ceramics industry with the aim of increasing the sustainability of production processes.
The research assistant therefore carries out studies to measure the CO2 footprint (lifecycle assessments with LCI databases and software) and researches the potential for bio-inspired, bio-integrated and bio-intelligent processes in the ceramics industry.
The activity in the EE4M project aims to pass on the results in the form of training and courses.
In addition to research, activities also include the preparation of scientific papers, project reports and project proposals.
Further research activities within the framework of other projects on related topics can be agreed by mutual agreement between the candidate and the supervisor.
If this activity in the context of other projects is supervised by a professor/researcher other than the specified supervisor, the latter must in any case expressly countersign the part of the report relating to the activity in the additional projects.
