PositionResearch Analyst - Research Department in Milan, Italy
Is this the role for you?This position is critical for supporting business growth and editorial strategic decisions for the various brands in Italy. It involves analyzing the state of the brand, audience performance, linear forecast, context and competition analysis, as well as linear and non-linear performance tracking.
What will you be doing?The primary objective is to support revenue growth by collaborating with strategy and Ad Sales teams to provide forecasts and analysis for Sky and Sky media. The role is responsible for being the point of contact for all internal partners, including brand, comms & PR, and marketing teams, providing data and insights to support business growth in the region.
As Research Analyst, you will support our international brands across multiple platforms, providing data, analysis, and insights to help partners understand performance in order to make informed, data-led decisions. The role involves regular and ad-hoc tasks, interpreting data to identify performance trends, anticipate issues, and seek opportunities.
The role requires strong collaboration with peers in other territories, with a primary focus on the Italian market, reporting to the Regional Lead.
What are we looking for?KEY REQUIREMENTS:Around 2 years of previous experience in providing research analytics and data to stakeholdersStrong data-driven backgroundKnowledge of linear and non-linear metrics and the broadcast/entertainment industry (Italian market focus)Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V Lookup, etc.)Hands-on technical skills, ideally including industry-specific tools (experience with Techedge is appreciated)Passion for working in the media and entertainment industryCurious, proactive and collaborative spiritADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Proficient in Italian and EnglishAttention to detailAnalytical skillsInquisitivenessAbility to cope with pressure to meet deadlinesTeam working skillsInterpersonal and communication skillsParamount is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) including disability/vet.
