At our facility, you will enjoy: State of the Art Gyms Employee Appreciation Programs Flexible Scheduling Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Plans Paid Time Off Outstanding Compensation Comfortable Staffing Ratios A Supportive and Caring Staff and Management Team REHAB TECH RESPONSIBILITIES: Organize and monitor completion of insurance notes for managed care patients/ scans to charts Updates Med A book prior to dept meeting Issues NOMNCs for end of Medicare part B services/ scans to charts/ mails out letters/gathers documentation for appeals Maintains equipment inventory/ orders and tracks supplies/ Rounds the building to recover unused equipment.
Labels and Issues wheelchairs to new admissions/ checks for safety and cleanliness Cleans hot pack Machine, maintains supply closets Keeps the gym clean and organized.
Assists with cleaning equipment between patients and daily wipe- down.
Assists therapists if needed with transfers, transportation ( currently tech is a CNA)- assists with use of therapy equipment such as standing machine, Rifton Tram Accompanies patients to appointments as needed Prepares MARS/ TARS and consultation list for weekly physiatry rounds/ accompanies physiatrist as needed.
Assists with tech support issues / creates excel sheets/ forms as needed  REHAB TECH QUALIFICATIONS: Rehab Tech Experience  Long Term Care Experience Required #J-18808-Ljbffr
