Purpose Built Vehicles Assistant Manager (M/F/D) at Kia Italia in Milan, Italy

Reporting to the Product Planning Manager, the Purpose Built Vehicles Assistant Manager will support the Product Planning team in preparation for Purpose Built Vehicles (PBV) launches. S/he will be responsible for the development and execution of the marketing strategy for PBVs, involved in new product launches, contributing to the development of the new Launch Plan, and cooperating with the rest of the team to ensure the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
S/he will be in charge of competitors' analysis, pricing and competitiveness, product standard and local configuration to catch new business opportunities, building a new network of suppliers.
Moreover, S/he will manage in-life product performance, as well as the product improvement life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities.
Your Mission: New PBV business area development, defining milestones and finding stakeholders in the market to work and develop new local processes. New products launch, contributing to the development of the PBV Launch Plan, and cooperating with the rest of the Product Team to ensure the cross-functional implementation of the plan. Collection and analysis of information from HQ and internal processes related to PBVs. Management of research results to determine new opportunities for improvement by analyzing industry trends, identifying gaps, and proposing ideas on actions to address those gaps. Management of third parties to collaborate with Kia for local transformations (with focus on competitiveness, offers, opportunities, etc.). Support in pricing policy - adjusting price lists, collecting and analyzing data on costs and competitive scenarios, assessing profitability, and issuing price lists. Product positioning and messaging - to differentiate our products in the market by line-up and pricing strategy, according to competitiveness analysis and customer expectations. Advertising - focusing on model Unique Selling Points and creating coherent messages for customers, supporting the production of communication assets. Ordering process - ensuring orders are managed in coherence with line-up strategy and economic results. Responsible for managing in-life product performance, as well as the product improvement life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities. Operational activities: product codes creation, system set-up, pricing simulations, etc. Your Talents: University degree, preferably in Economics or Engineering. Experience in Light Commercial Vehicles or the Automotive industry. Italian: fluent, spoken and written. English: fluent, spoken and written. Proficient in MS Office, with excellent Excel and PPT skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about cars and/or Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), with a consistent analytic background, very precise, proactive, and with an enquiring attitude.
S/he shows a desire to improve the status quo with a positive "can do" attitude and enthusiasm for the automotive market.
Strongly goal-oriented, s/he has team working, communication, public speaking, reliability, organizational skills, and good negotiation ability.
Contractual grade: First Level CCNL or above.
