Purchase Specialist

THE MISSION: Ensures purchasing and buying strategy, vision and operational activities, meeting budgeting and standards goals.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Plan and coordinate purchasing on the assigned categoryMonitor daily needs on MRPPre-production forecasts Handle and upload orders in the SystemCoordinate with external suppliers and follow orders' progress Monitor leftovers Coordinate with different departments and align with them on ongoing and future needs Ad hoc, periodic analysisIdentify key markdowns on raw materials and final products KEY REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience in a purchasing Department, if gained in a Luxury company would be a plus Business acumenKnowledge of purchasing activities for a Fashion, Retail oriented companyExcels working cross DepartmentFluent in EnglishGood technical understanding
