We are looking for a Proposal Manager to be based at any of our offices around Europe. The position will be key to providing a professional and administrative service to the Bid Management and Business Development Teams with regards to preparation and submission of proposals. The key person will work closely with the other members of the bid team along with other operational and commercial functions across the company's international offices. The position reports to the Director of Sales and Proposal Management. Tasks and activities The scope of work will include: Managing the end-to-end bid preparation, by taking responsibility in producing proposals, from a positive Bid/No-Bid Result up to submission, in compliance with company highest quality and standards. Working with the Bid Management and Business Development Teams to ensure all reviews are scheduled effectively and compliance with the company's bid and sales processes. Ensuring timescales are achieved at each step of the process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines. Organizing and participating in bid reviews to assess the bid's progress and suggesting appropriate actions. Liaising with other key stakeholders, typically sales, resource management, recruitment, HR, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and project management/delivery, both within the company and from commercial partners, for obtaining and assisting with information necessary for submission. Interviewing internally identified staff with the aim of collecting technical content to be inserted in the proposals, rephrasing, and re-organizing the content when applicable, and scheduling follow-up meetings with the staff for further refinement. Integrating the technical inputs with further content mainly extracted from reference documentation or past applicable proposals. Coordinating and circulating related correspondence and feedback. Working towards tight deadlines and short time scales and being willing/able to work overtime if needed, mainly close to proposal submission. Skills and experience The following skills and experience are mandatory: University Degree or equivalent in Telecommunication, Aerospace, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a relevant field to the company's main business line. At least 5 years proven experience in bid management, technical writing, technical reporting and requirement management. Extensive experience in Microsoft Office suite. Time Management and ability to work overtime when required. Ability to synthesize written content from diverse and concurrent sources. Attention to details, excellent proofreading/editing skills, writing skills, and verbal communication skills. Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment. Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. The following skills and experience would be highly desirable: Experience in MS Teams, MS SharePoint, Salesforce. Working experience in / knowledge of the Space environment, preferably Earth Observation. ITIL certification. Background/experience in Sales and/or Legal.
