Adecco Italia s.p.a. is looking for a Project Officer Cultural Mediator.
The profile will be working in the office located in Rome and may be requested to perform missions on the field. S/he will be under the direct supervision of the Alternate Coordinating Officer and in cooperation with relevant colleagues in the Sector and other relevant Sectors in the Agency.
The profile will be responsible for the following tasks under the coordination and supervision of the coordinator:
Support coordinating, supervising and monitoring the mediation and/or interpretation services delivered at field level in close collaboration with the relevant coordinators.Collect the requests for the mediation services from the field and consolidate them for the evaluation of the Coordinator.Coordinate closely with Admin colleagues for the management of request for service, evaluation of the proposal from the providers and communication with the stakeholders.Organize and facilitate, in close coordination with the Coordinator and other units, trainings, inductions and refresher sessions to mediators on the field to ensure the high quality standard of the service provided during the deployment.Perform regular field visits to monitor the activities of the mediators deployed to ensure standardization of procedures, adherence to quality standards and spreading of good practices.Managing contacts, liaising and networking with the local stakeholders, partner organizations and other entities and respond to requests for information as needed.Draft briefings, statistical/narrative reports, background information and regular reports on the area of activity.Participate in relevant meetings as needed to identify issues and make recommendations in the area of activity.Uphold data protection principles of case files at all times.Perform any other duties as may be assigned in the interest of the service.Essential: Completed University Degree in Law, Political Science, Humanitarian Studies or Social Studies.Previous relevant experience of at least 2 years.Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite and Excel.Be willing to travel to several locations in Italy.Advantageous: Previous experience within an institutional environment.Proven work experience in a Public Administration.Knowledge of the EU and national migration.Request availability for a fixed-term contract until 31.01.2025 (renewable). Gross monthly salary 4070€ (B1). Duty Station: Rome.
