The position As our Project Director Utility, Facility & Construction Management at Novo Nordisk, you will be a key part in the expansion project's success.
You will allocate and optimize the use of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project objectives, as well as identify resource gaps or constraints and propose solutions to ensure project success.
You will collaborate cross-functionally to drive innovation and change in project planning and execution, and also provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability.
Your main accountabilities will include: - Develop and execute project plans, defining objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address any issues that may arise.
- Develop project budgets, closely monitoring and managing expenditures, to ensure adherence to financial constraints.
- Drive efficiency and adaptability in project management processes and implement innovative project management software solutions to enhance collaboration and streamline workflows.
- Proactively identifying and implementing innovative strategies to optimize project timelines, and deliverables, and championing a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging team members to explore new ideas and technologies.
Qualifications To be successful in this role we expect you to have: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Project Management certification, such as PMP.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, with experience in establishing facilities, utilities, and site infrastructure in greenfield projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a related field.
As our Project Director it will be an asset to demonstrate familiarity with construction management, engineering management and project management.
