Project Manager InternJob Description Summary Job Description Project Manager We are a leading global real estate services firm with core business in property, facilities and project management, leasing, capital markets, valuation and other. Within the Project and Development Services team (PDS) we are leader in design, consultancy and project management services and, for over 20 years here in Italy, we have been offering our expertise in developing millions of square meters of commercial offices, retail spaces and industrial sites. We are looking for a full-time Project Manager that can support the Building Refurbishment and Office Fit-out business lines inside the PDS team. Job description The candidate will support the management of whole design/development/construction process of refurbishment / fit-out of new projects for our Clients and will report to the manager of the relevant business line. He/she will be asked to communicate with all the actors of the project: Clients, Consultants and Contractors and all internal and external stakeholders. Role responsibility Development/project brief, which include setting time, cost, design and quality objectives for the project;Selection and appointment of project consultants and contractors, coordination and monitoringtheir work;Carry out site inspections and feasibility studies at early stages to identify development risks;Management and coordination of statutory process;Identification of potential construction related issues or contractual controversies and effect appropriate solutions;Monitor project budgets and schedules for significant variances and oversee contractor payments when appropriate;Manage client direct items;Monitor and close issues over Defects Liability Period;Monitor the flow of information regarding project design among interested parties including investors, construction groups, consultants and architects;Drive the close out and handover of completed projects;Ensure data storage requirements are met to retain all information needed for future;Act as a team member with all employees;Comply with all policies and procedures.Profile A degree in Architecture, Building Engineering or Civil Engineering is requiredGood knowledge of Office package, Microsoft Project and AutocadFluent in English and ItalianProblem solving approach and good communication skills to lead cross-functional teamsResult oriented and strong in project management and in collaborating with other teams (internal/external)
