We at Hiab Services are looking for a Product Specialist Accessories who will develop and implement the Hiab Accessories offering portfolio in order to deliver profitable growth through differentiated customer experience and performance across the lifecycle.
We are looking for an individual with relevant experience and knowledge from the industry who can help us develop our offering and product development roadmap.
The position is based in Minerbio, Italy and you will report to our Director, Global Product Management Accessories.
**Main tasks and responsibilities**:
- Defining and driving Hiab's global accessories product offering in collaboration with global Sales & Services teams, Product Management across Hiab Divisions, external vendors and other key stakeholders
- Understanding and capturing customer insights for customer driven accessory product offering; Guiding customers to standard solutions where possible, optimising special solutions when required
- Providing customer and other stakeholder input to R&D design process, to DtC and quality improvements
- Liaising with sourcing and key vendors in assortment standardisation, cost & lead time development, RFQ´s, vendor relationship
- Ensuring existing products are optimised with the correct options, pricing, sales tools, Design to Cost to meet business objectives; Participation and prioritisation of accessories PLC (Product Lifetime Care)& NPD (New Product Development) initiatives cross functionally
- Administration and implementation of accessories product data in sales tools and configurator
- Providing day to day technical and commercial accessories product support and training to the sales & services teams globally
- Delivering deep market intelligence: trends/needs and good understanding of competitive offering.
**What you'll need to succeed**:
We're looking for someone who is passionate about driving performance improvements and has a high sense of accountability.
A person who is customer focused and tends to think out of the box solutions.
Ideally you have:
- 3-5+ years in technical engineering/sales field or experience in similar role
- Experience from on-road load handling industry is beneficial
- Technical and/or Business Degree
- Strong communication and customer interaction
- Organised and structured way of working
- Strong self driving and organising capability
- Ability to work in a global matrix structure
- Cross functional collaboration
- Sustainability management
- English requirement (fluent in written and spoken); Italian, German, French and/or other languages are beneficial.
