For a global leader in the wholesale of building materials industry, we are looking for a Product & Sales Manager .
We are seeking an experienced Product & Sales Manager to lead the strategic direction and development of assigned product areas.
The role includes managing market observation, product optimization, and coordinating with suppliers and partners.
The successful candidate will provide professional and leadership support to Product Managers, align product portfolios with market needs, and lead continuous technical and sales training efforts.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Product Portfolio Management: Develop and maintain a product portfolio optimized for various markets.
Analyze potential, competition, and coordinate implementation strategies (e.g., pricing, cascading, applications).
Serve as the point of contact for product communication across markets.
New Product Introduction: Collect market needs for potential new products, develop product/marketing launch plans, and coordinate the introduction of new products with the sales team.
Human Resource Management: Lead and manage Product Managers through coaching and professional development.
Conduct regular performance reviews and set objectives aligned with company values.
Sales Support: Act as the contact point for the sales team on complex product requirements and key client needs.
Key Performance Indicators: Achieving product revenue and margin targets.
Identifying unprofitable products and taking corrective action.
Timely and successful launch of new products.
Team development and achievement of set objectives.
Required Qualifications: 4-5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, product management, and team leadership.
Strong track record in developing and executing product and marketing strategies.
Technical training in mechanical engineering or production processes.
Experience in the wholesale of building materials industry will be considered a plus.
Languages: Fluency in German, Italian, and at least one additional language (English, Spanish, or French) is required.
Skills: Strong decision-making, time management, and creativity skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict management abilities.
