**We are now looking for a Product Owner in Bologna!
**What can you expect?
**
- To play a role in developing customer facing requirements for Large Uninterruptible Power Supply products.
- To work with a group of firmware team members located globally on different global projects.
**What will your average day look like?
**
- You will serve as an interface between offering manager and the engineering (particularly firmware) team to define, groom and finalize requirements and defects.
- You will provide customer facing requirements for global large UPS products, especially firmware related requirements.
- You will host requirement defining meetings and define agenda for each meeting for all Large UPS products.
- You will clarify engineering questions related to customer facing requirements and bring feedback to offering management and service team for discussion
- You will manage Rally backlog to ensure each defect and requirement are properly prioritized and ranked for each product line.
**What do we need from you?
**
- An Engineering Degree.
- At least 5 years of professional engineering experience in designing, developing, analyzing or servicing power electronic systems, preferably UPS systems.
- Knowledge of firmware and software development process
- Demonstrated knowledge with Power Devices and controlling Power Devices.
For example, 3 phase rectifiers (phase controlled or PWM), 3-phase inverters (IGBT), battery monitoring.
- Knowledge of system failure mode and operations in a 3-phase power system.
- Experience troubleshooting both hardware and firmware related bugs.
- Skilled at documenting and troubleshooting using appropriate tools and techniques (Visio, Rally).
- Knowledge of product development life cycle is desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skill of leading discussion, summarize key points and action items.
- Demonstrated experience doing embedded code development on a micro controller or digital signal processor (DSP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Rally and bug/defect tracking tools is a plus.
- Language skills: English at an advanced level.
