MTIC Group , a multinational organization providing services as a Notified Body, Accredited Laboratory, and Certification Body , is experiencing steady growth in testing, inspection, and certification. We are currently seeking a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Department Manager for our office MTIC Intercert in Rho, Italy . Main Responsibilities: Supervise the correct performance of all activities of the scheme, managing each phase from QMS documents to applicable legislative and regulatory documentation. Ensure the correct execution of the selection, qualification, training, evaluation, and authorization of internal and external personnel, defining minimum competence and educational requirements. Prepare technical documentation of the QMS (e.g., operating procedures, instructions, checklists for evaluation, audit reports) ensuring compliance with applicable standards. Collaborate with the commercial secretariat to define and review offers accurately. Supervise programming and planning of relevant scheme activities. Assign resources to evaluation/audit activities in compliance with authorization requirements and delegate tasks to personnel. Participate in defining activities and objectives of the relevant scheme with department management. Define annual training and refresher plans for personnel, including monitoring plans and documentation reviews. Define the certification decision-making committee's composition and summon members for certification decisions. Review documentation related to activities, particularly documentation presenting results, and sign for approval when necessary. Manage the process of suspension, withdrawal, or reduction of certificates in compliance with QMS requirements. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma with a technical focus, or a first or second level degree in technical or scientific disciplines. A university degree or bachelor's degree is a plus. 4 years of general work experience, with at least 2 years in conformity assessment, design, manufacturing, or testing for PPE products. Good knowledge of accreditation standards (17000 series) and European legislative documentation (Regulation 765/2008/EC, Decision 768/2008/EC). Familiarity with IAF, ILAC, EA documents. Excellent knowledge of product and inspection certification standards. Preferably completed a 40-hour ISO 19011 course. Knowledge of conformity assessment standards. Good spoken and written English skills. Proficiency in Office Suite. Additional Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
