PMO Manager Area of responsibility:
Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for key business processes. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and stakeholders. Must Haves: Degree in a Science/Technology/Engineer related discipline with a minimum of 5 years' proven experience in relevant roles leading projects with a range of complexity, scale, and budget. Min 2 years of experience of PMBOK process or equivalent for Project Management. Nice to Haves: Ability to work remotely and to travel internationally up to 10% of the time. Exhibits a positive leadership mindset. Leadership and team building skills to create / guide strong collective cross functional teams in a collaborative work environment. Critical thinking Problem Solving expertise with the ability and skills to analyze and solve challenges. Ability to manage a range of projects and multi-task working efficiently under pressure. Risk Management orientated approach with ability to identify, analyze and respond to risks throughout the lifecycle of projects. Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills. Project Management PMP Certification or equivalent. Project Management Software competency and experience. Working Knowledge and experience of Six Sigma & Lean principles.
