Eaton's Mobility Group is dedicated to delivering innovative propulsion solutions, from internal combustion engines to electrified systems.
For our site in Bosconero (Turin), Italy, the primary production site for truck valves in the EMEA region, we are seeking a Plant Quality Manager who will oversee the entire production process and report directly to the Plant Manager.
The Quality Manager will lead the execution of the Strategic Quality Plan, provide Total Quality Leadership, support continuous improvement initiatives, and manage the Quality Assurance strategy to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
What you'll do:Implement and manage the plant quality system according to IATF 16949 standards.Lead the Quality Department, ensuring alignment with corporate and regional procedures.Drive systems and processes to achieve 100% customer requirement conformance.Oversee quality processes for prototyping and performance metrics related to IATF 16949, EQMS, and customer requirements.Reduce variability and defects, focusing on the Cost of Quality.Review ProLaunch/APQP quality activities and documentation.Develop functional competencies within the Quality Department.Collaborate with regional, divisional, and corporate resources to identify and execute key improvement projects.Act as the Production Safety & Regulatory Officer.Qualifications:Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, etc.).Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality roles within an industrial environment.Skills:Proven ability to drive Quality and continuous improvement.Extensive knowledge of quality assurance, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949.Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.Effective at managing by influence and understanding customer Quality requirements.Fluent in English and Italian.What We Offer:Dynamic Projects: Engage in challenging projects within a collaborative international team.Inclusive Culture: We celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment.Career Growth: We support internal promotions and invest in your long-term development with annual performance reviews.Wellbeing Focus: Enjoy our Health Insurance Plan (MetaSalute), Company Welfare plan, and a quality canteen with healthy food options.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
