Ashoka Italy is currently looking for someone who can bring their personality in making financial reporting and operations smooth and strong, eager to connect with our Ashoka Fellows, young Changemakers, corporations, private funders and innovators.




Requirements



The candidate should possess the following mandatory requirements:



Proven experience of at least 5 years in administration and financial management of Non-Governmental Organizations in Italy (new ETS).




Good knowledge of accounting and double-entry bookkeeping.




Previous experience in using an accounting software (if Netsuite is an extra asset).




Good knowledge of the Third Sector Reform ("Riforma del Terzo Settore") and the dynamics of a Third Sector Foundation.




Excellent knowledge of Italian and English (both spoken and written).




Hands-on and proactive attitude, ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.




Ability to work independently, remotely, and spirit of initiative.





Job Objectives




The candidate will have to manage administration and finance for the following activities:



General administration tasks of Ashoka Italy, including every process related to the new Third Sector Reform (from registration to regular compliance).




Bookkeeping and monthly closure, in coordination with an external accounting firm.




Bookkeeping and monthly closure, in compliance with the requirements of Italian regulations and specific requirements from Ashoka Global.




Management of accounts payable, receivable, intercompany transfers.




Management of suppliers, contracts and payments.




Human Resources management (contracts, payroll, expense reimbursements).




Ensuring compliance with all Italian relevant Laws (GDPR, fiscal law, VAT…).




Preparation (if necessary) and verification of onerous and non-onerous contracts with Partners.




Regular liaison with external consultants (accountants, legal advisors, payroll consultants etc. etc.).





Contract Details:





Duration: starting from November – December 2024 (onboarding), 2 months probationary period






Commitment: part-time, 20H a week (at least, negotiable)




Type of contract: VAT, external consultancy for 1 year (possibility to turn into a permanent contract after this period)




Budget: to be evaluated according to the candidate's experience
